Lumby Lines – Gail Fraser

Cute novel of life in a small town in the Northwest.

A couple on vacation from Virgina see a near demolished monastery and decide to buy and repair it to use it as an inn.  The locals are less then thrilled with this and reactions vary from outright hostile to merely avoiding the Eastern couple.

Some of the highlights are the Sheriff’s Complaints excerpts from the Lumby newspaper.
